What Clients Say
Who This Is For
Support here is open to anyone. I specialized in helping people suffering from stress/burnout. At the same time my personal and professional background means high achievers and expats often feel a particularly strong sense of fit & feel understood.
Thoughtful, professional support for a broad range of clients.
For High Achievers
High achievers are often very good at functioning while under pressure. You may be capable, driven, and highly responsible, yet find it hard to slow down, ask for help, or notice your own limits. My work is especially suited to people who want sustainable success, not success at the cost of their wellbeing.
For anyone in distress
This work is not only for a specific niche. If life feels heavy, pressured, or difficult to hold together, you are welcome here. Counseling can offer a calm, structured place to think clearly, feel more grounded, and find a way forward that fits your life.
For Expats
Moving countries can bring opportunity, but also distance from familiar people, identity shifts and the hidden strain of constant adaptation. Because I have lived between cultures and grew up between Australia and Germany, I understand these demands and how to deal with them.
Why Im a good Fit

The Tools that we will use:
-
Every person experiences stress differently. That’s why we don’t use a one-size-fits-all method.
In this approach, we look at three important areas of your life:
Body (bio): sleep, energy, physical health
Mind (psycho): thoughts, emotions, coping patterns
Life context (social): work, relationships, daily pressures
Together, we identify what is really driving your stress or burnout and create a plan tailored specifically to you. You receive support that fits your situation—not generic advice. We focus on the root causes of your stress and develop practical, realistic solutions you can actually use in your daily life.
-
Many people push through stress without taking effective breaks this often leads to burnout.
Rest break management helps you learn:
When to take breaks
How long they should be
How to make them truly restorative
This is not just about “taking time off,” but using breaks in a way that actually recharges your energy.
You stop running on empty. Instead, you build a sustainable rhythm in your day that improves focus, productivity, and overall well-being — without exhaustion. -
Psychological counseling offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about what’s weighing on you.
We work together to:
Understand your challenges
Clarify your thoughts and feelings
Find healthier ways to cope with stress
You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. You gain clarity, emotional relief and concrete strategies to handle difficult situations with more confidence and stability. -
This is a structured, evidence-based approach that teaches you how to stay present and respond to stress more calmly instead of reacting automatically.
It combines:
Mindfulness practices
Gentle awareness exercises
Practical stress-management tools
You learn how to step out of “autopilot” and reduce constant mental pressure. Over time, this helps you feel more in control, less reactive and better able to handle challenging situations. -
Guided meditations are structured audio exercises that gently lead your attention to help your mind slow down and relax.
They focus on:
Calming your nervous system
Improving focus
Releasing tension
Even if you’ve never meditated before, you’ll be guided step by step. You learn simple techniques you can use anytime to feel calmer, more centered, and less overwhelmed.

Who I am
I specialize in stress and burnout because I understand pressure from the inside — as an expat, as a high achiever and as a psychologist who has worked in demanding clinical environments.
As an expat myself, growing up between Australia and Germany and repeatedly moving between countries, cultures, and environments, I understand how demanding it can be to build a life somewhere new while continuing to meet high expectations. I work fluently in English and German and I bring a personal understanding of the pressure many international professionals experience when success, adaptation and isolation overlap.
Academically, I trained in Psychology at Radboud University Nijmegen, graduating with Honors, before completing my Master’s degree in Neuropsychology at Maastricht University. My early work included research into mindfulness-based approaches for stress and anxiety, as well as practical work as a guided meditation instructor — combining scientific understanding with tools for emotional regulation and resilience. This led me into clinical work in Germany and finally moving to Switzerland.
The most defining step in my career was becoming Lead of Neuropsychology in a Coma Recovery Unit at Rehab Basel, Switzerland. In that role, I worked with patients in critical neurological conditions between life and death. I supported families facing shock, fear, grief and impossible uncertainty. This role also carried significant responsibility on a day to day basis: making difficult medical decisions under pressure in a multidisciplinary team, helping families navigate uncertainty, and staying grounded when the emotional and clinical stakes were high.
This role shaped the way I understand stress today. I have seen how pressure affects not only performance, but also sleep, concentration, emotional control, relationships, identity and the body itself. I have also learned that people who carry responsibility often wait too long before seeking support.
My work today is built around helping expats, high achievers and professionals under pressure regain clarity, stability and control over their stress.
